I finally called my Dr. today and said I needed something more to help the pain {an induced coma sounded like a perfect idea} Also a antibiotic because I knew the little bugger was giving me a horrid kidney infection. Of course the pharmacy I use closes at 6. So I was anxiously awaiting morning to get more drugs....
Look what came tonight!!
I went to the bathroom and heard a "tink" , looked down and saw something. Yep I fished it out. And yes I took a picture like any proud mother would after 5 days of back labor. Now as far as stones go....even a piece of gravel can cause havoc. So you can imagine...
If you are queasy just don't scroll down.....But in a sick way I am kinda proud.
Told ya I'm not usually a cry baby....
It is as thick as a raisin and quite jagged{obviously hard as a rock} How in the heck did I pass this bugger?

OHHHHHH my goodness Tietta! That thing is a boulder! That is unbelievable!!!! Your Doc is going to want that stone just to show people what a champ you are! Karen I have NEVER seen one before but I hear just a half of a pea is size is just the worst thing they have ever encountered! I hope that will be the last one FOREVER! That is our prayer for you! Love you Bro and sis-in law!
Ow! Sounds like this was worse than natural childbirth...here's to a prayer that you're "passed" this all now! OXOX
For heaven's sake....at least they should be diamonds, then it would be totally worth the back labor. But then you would be like the goose who laid the golden egg. Not that you're a goose. Sheesh. Anybody for pate?
I'm glad that is done and hope you feel better quickly.
Kathy you kill me....The Golden Goose ! That is too funny. I sure hope tis done too, and not just a chip off the golf ball? I'll let you know tomorrow when McDreamy does the X ray. I think I will sprinkle on a little glitter on my tummy for the visit too? Gosh there should be a law against handsome Dr's. Thanks for the smile.
YOU are a CHAMPION.....I am SO proud of you...and I pray THEY NEVER COME BACK......Hey, have you called The Guinnes World Record Folks?
Hello - just came to visit from Stretch Marks. I wanted to see a picture of your stone! (morbid curiosty I guess). I'll tell you the same thing that my 28-year-old son's urologist tells him - "the best thing you can do for a kidney stone is to stay in a hot bath and drink Jack Daniels until you pass it!"
Seriously, I'm glad you're feeling better. My son gets one about every 2 years or so. I've seen how painful they are - looks like you should get an award for yours!
Sophia, I'm ABSOLUTELY AMAZED at the size of that stone, I really can't believe you were able to pass it but that just goes to show you what kind of wonder woman you are. So Congratulations on the "birth"...you must feel sooooo much better!! Kaci has sent me a comment (refer to my most recent post's comments) about not being able to leave a comment for you. I commented back to her (refer to her most recent post's comments) but maybe you have another suggestion, she's very frustrated and apparently has something very "important" to say.
Apparently one solution to the problem of people not being able to post is to make the comment box and the comments a pop out. Not sure why this works. Either that Kaci's computer is just being ornery.
Wow- That was amazing. I think you should frame it in a nice display box, or made into a charm for a necklace. It would be a great converstion piece whenever you meet someone new ;)
Hope you start feeling better quick.
Karen, this is awful!! What a trooper you are.
