Two more sleeps!

I have been LOVING Christmas so much this year!
I sure am enjoying the blessing of not working.
My sweet friend Katie said the cutest thing to me...
She said she thinks I am part elf
And I think she might be right!

It has been non stop Christmas music in my house and car. My tree is lit night and day and I smile every time I hear the sound of the Salvation Army bell
I have been chatting with friends, shopping ,wrapping and getting all ready for Christmas  because in two days I am leaving for ....

New York!

I cant believe the time is almost here
We will fly out on Wednesday morning and will be home next Monday
I am sure going to miss Carter but I kinda think he and Brody will enjoy the boy time
I am packing my warm clothes and dreaming of seeing the tree in Rockefeller Center!
I will be back with lots of photos and stories I am sure
In the mean time I wish you many moments of love and joy
Merry Merry Christmas!!
And Happy 9 months to our sweet Beckham!
This boy has completely stolen our hearts

I'm sooooo jealous! NYC is just about my favorite place. You will love it!! I have a wonderful memory of sitting in the Sea Grill having dinner (next to Walter Cronkite, I might mention) and watching the ice skaters at Rockefeller Plaza. Then they cleared the ice rink and a boy and girl came out all alone and he got down on one knee and proposed. It was so cute. There was also an enormous "penny box" (like a huge, I mean huge, sandbox but filled with pennies). People would toss pennies in it and make a wish. I wished that Kami would find someone wonderful to marry. It was exactly one month later that she met Brent. I don't know if that penny box is an annual thing but if it's there and there's a wish you really want, you might give it a try.

Be sure to visit Macy's and Sac's...the decorations are to die for. Also, check out the Waldorf (we stayed there) it's so fabulous. Take a carriage ride in Central Park and go to Serendipity's. I'm sad that Tavern on the Green is gone, it was my favorite place. Some other good eating places are Carnegie's Deli, Le Cirque (pricey but delish), Sparks. On our last trip we went to Hard Rock for lunch and it was also really good. Maybe it's just because we were in NYC!! The Rocketts are sure fun to see. I'm so excited for you. Can't wait to hear all about it!!

P.S. You might also check out the Mormon Temple. It's on the same block as Regis and Kelly and across the street from Julliard's. It's right in the heart of Manhattan. It looks like an office building but lovely inside. I've heard they give tours now.

I too am jealous that you are in NYC...my ALL time favorite city in the world! I have had the privilege of going a few times and have loved it more each time I go. I am anxiously awaiting pictures and details.
BUT...I really just wanted to comment on that sweet baby boy. He really is just as cute as they come! Those eyes are heart-melting and I bet you just die each time he looks up at you! You are one lucky lady! :)
